About Vitality Space
Vitality Space is a culturally grounded digital mental health platform, co-created by the University of Zurich, University of Rwanda, and Kigali Mental Health Referral Center. Our mission is to provide holistic, trauma-informed care for individuals and communities in East Africa and beyond.
We combine evidence-based therapy models with community-driven support, rooted in the values of Ubuntu (shared humanity) and Ubumuntu (compassion). Our platform is designed to be accessible, safe, and culturally resonant for survivors of trauma, families, and mental health professionals.
- Self-paced trauma recovery journeys for personal, family, and community healing
- Anonymous peer support forums and moderated discussions
- Directory and booking for culturally sensitive, professional therapists
- Multi-language support (Kinyarwanda, English, Swahili)
- Strong privacy, safety, and accessibility for all users
Together, we help individuals rebuild dignity, vitality, and hope.
